Monocraft Royal Monograms

Can anyone tell me anything about the below images. We acquired an antique picture frame with a really old picture of a woman in it on gold leaf type paper. Inside the frame after we opened it we found the royal monograms hidden within the picture frame. Wondering if the picture is of an owner of the company or mother of the owners possibly. What would these things be worth?  I only found 1 thing online about then and that was a book written on the company that made them.

No,, Nothing like that !!  These were monograms sold by the company to identify your belongings !!  It was just a sales tactic !!  You wanted something monogrammed with your family`s or your initials they would do it for a fee !!   Just pick the style you want !!

Here is one of their monogram pins !!  Saw another on Etsy for $20. and that would be about the top price !!  The pic shown could be a past customer or one of their family members !!  No way to know but I am sure they had permission to use the photo !!  Small companies could not afford a lawsuit !!

Thank you. I figured it was a salesmanship card for showing samples but just thought it very curious to have it hidden in the picture frame. Then the picture seems to be from the time frame that the company was making these before they started munitions and jewelry

I wish they would still do monograms like the pins, etc.  I love that stuff!

Yes I would too !!  $.98 at Woolworths !!  Just pic the letter you want !!  But was usually just one letter !!
