What type/name of beads are these?
« on: February 21, 2019, 08:57:49 am »
Hello! I've been correcting beadwork whimseys for a while, and an starting to restore some as a hobby. Does anyone know the type/name of these tube beads I circled? They are clear glass with paint on the inside. They are not equal in length, but most are 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch. They are old, some of my beadwork pieces that have these are dated from the early 1900s. A simple search for bugle beads turned up a lot of the wrong type. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me find a name for these!

Try looking under bugle bead as well as tube bead.
