Well, you are NOT alone in having Email issues on that site, now it seems almost everyone is and it's been going on for MONTHS! with little or no attempt to fix this issue.
This seems to be a recurring problem with forums, they start off with a BANG! and slowly over time they decline because of this, that, and the other thing. Small details that are not addressed eventually combine into a site that very few care to visit or join or post on.

I wish it would as well for the regulars on here but I don't think it is going to.
I just did 2 searches, "Antique discussion forum" and "Antique forums" went 5 pages back in each search result on both terms and this site is not listed.
If the WWW is not aware you exist, you don't.

The above search was on google/chrome browser.
I just did the same search on duckduckgo/Brave browser and you are on page 3!

Brave is a fairly new browser that does not track where you go on the internet and uses duckduckgo as its search engine.
Many are concerned for various reasons about the 800 LB gorilla in the room, Google, and are looking for alternatives to their services.
