Value of 100 year old LONGINES WATCH??
« on: September 22, 2006, 09:23:08 pm »
Does anyone know the value of an old LONGINES watch? It is at least 100 years old and has been passed down in the family given to my husband by his grandfather who was 83 years old and it was given to his grandfather by his great grand father. Unsure of if it goes back any further than that though... I took some pictures of it but I don't know how to post them. (Anyone know how?) Also, the watch still works. It is a pocket watch.

Pocket watches are not as collectible as wrist watches unfortunately..ther e are just too many of them...Longines is a great name however and it will have to depend on the size of the watch, condition, number of jewels, how many functions it has, and the gold content.
