I thought maybe someone on here could help me. A friend of mine from out of state aquired, what she believes, is a 1964 Beatles tour jacket. I did my best getting a good description over the phone to see if someone could verify if this is authentic. The sleeves are black leather. The rest of the coat is maroon and feels like it's wool. On the front of the jacket, the hand pockets are black leather trimmed. The back of the jacket reads "The Beatles,1964 Tour, Great Britian" , silver in color. She had some trouble making out the Astormir Norman part of the label but it says, "SAPIN Jackets Co., Astormir Norman Production"126 W. 22nd St., NY,NY 10011" Sorry about not having photos at the moment, if it would help I could ask her to take some and email them to me tomorrow.
