I recently bought an old Drop-front Secretary Desk bookcase at a yard sale. It is quite dark oak, has incised carving on the drop-leaf panel and on the back-board around the mirror. It's petite, only about 52 inches tall, 11-12 inches deep.
It has a round bevelled mirror that appears very old, too, probably the original.

It has an ink stencil on the back that says "No. 99".

I can't find anything just like it anywhere online or in books or magazines from the library.  It's similar to a Larkin desk, but I've been told by the Larkin Expert at the Larkin Yahoo group that it's definitely not a Larkin Secretary desk.  It appears older than the Larkin desks I've seen online.

Anyone have any idea of what category it would fit?  how old?  Value?
