Hello there,
My grandfather has a copperplated jug that I've had an extremely difficult time identifying. As far as I can tell it is a cream jug circa 1940's ,they look somewhat similar, although they are not completely alike. It is exactly 8" high, 6" in diameter and weighs 3 lbs, he also believes it is steel with a copper coat on top. His home is full of copper antiques; he could start his own museum; and he knows what each item is and which time period it is from. This is an item that has stumped us all and we would greatly appreciate any info or advice as to where to look for the proper history of this item. Thank you all so much again and any info you would like to impart please do so to bbrake85@hotmail.com.
