Grand Rapids Furniture Co. Dining Room set
« on: May 23, 2008, 12:26:07 pm »
Hey guys!  This is my dining room set.  It was purchased from an Estate sale in Columbus, MS  and that is all I know of the history.  The insignia in the small buffet say Grands Rapid Furniture Co. and inside the circle are the initals ICH  The mechanism that locks and unlocks for the leaves is stamped Perfection Table Lock and either patent no. 04 or patent nov. 04.  It was unassembled and reassembled because some screws are not original to the set.  It  includes the table, small buffet, large buffet and 3 more leaves.  I always thought it was strange to have so many leaves and only six chairs.  I would LOVE any info on this set and maybe a idea or worth.  Thanks in advance for you looking at my post.
