armoire
« on: August 10, 2008, 05:10:08 pm »
Can anyone please help me to identify my piece.  This is a large dark wood armoire that has 4 posted legs that are sculpted.  On the right hand side is a large wardrobe door with a glass panel which has some decorative etching on it.  On the left top side is a smaller door which at this time is locked and i do not have a key to open this.  Then below this there are 5 drawers one of which is a sort of letter/desk compartment.  Inside the wardrobe door is the Taylor logo but the rest is scratched out.  There is also a scratched into one of the drawers the date march 6, 1948 with the initials B.B.  It is in really good shape except for some minor needed repairs to secure the legs and to resecure the drawers.  I would like to locate a picture of this to see if there are cooridinating pieces to search for but I have not been able to locate this.  Help.
