Titanic Bell ?

I have a brass bell, which has the word "TITANIC" in an arc across the front and under that, "1912".

The bell is 5 1/2" in diameter and 3" high and hangs from a curved arm 6" long, with a mount that appears to be made for mounting on a ship's wall.

The mount and bell are brass, cast with a steel loop for the brass clapper.

I've had it for over 25 years. It's been outside all that time, as we used it to call the kids for dinner.

Does anyone have any information about a bell like this?

Suggestions already made is that it was made for an anniversary of the sinking or that it is an "Overrun", which is common when producing castings in quantity, in the event that a unit is damaged or rejected during installation.

In that case, it could have been made for the ship and was just never used.
