Need help in identifying a China Hutch
« on: September 29, 2008, 06:36:09 pm »
I have an old Hutch that I am contemplating on selling. I used to have the matching table and chairs at one time. The name Filbert is on the bottom. It has 2 glass doors that open to 3 shelves on the top. Two wood doors on the bottom that opens to 2 more shelves. The outside looks like a Tiger Oak veneer. I don't have a picture on hand but will get one in the couple of days. I can not find Filbert on the internet as a furniture company. The original owner, some 25 years ago gave the set to a friend that needed some money, that's how I got it, The owner had owned the pieces for quite sometime before passing away (in her early nineties) so I think it may be at least 1890 to 1900. Anyone have any clues?

Thanks.
