I'm a new member, and afraid I'm going to ask for some info but without a pic, as my camera died over Christmas! But it's easy to describe.
I was given a childs cutlery set, consisting of a knife, fork and spoon. It's EPNS, and all items are marked with the date of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 11. It's boxed in a blue box, satin lined in the top, marked Elizabeth R 1953, and the items set in blue felt. The fork and spoon have the queens head imprinted on them, the knife the date of the coronation.
The outside of the box is also marked Elizabeth R 1953. All in very good condition.
I would like to know if anyone knows any details of these sets, rarity etc. I have trawled for info on the net, and haven't yet come up with any listings of such a set at all.
