Antique Icebox
« on: October 01, 2003, 08:58:28 pm »
I recently acquired an oak icebox about 54 inches tall, 30 inches wide, and 21 inches deep.  It has the galvanized metal lining in the ice chamber, but the bottom compartment where the food is kept is white pocelain.  It is in excellent condition.  I am interested in some history on the company, the age of the piece (I can email a picture to anyone who can help), and the approximate value.  There is a metal tag on the front of the box that says Sanderson- Harold Company  Paris, Ontario.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
