please help to identify maker, symbols  curved "A&R", and worth of furniture set.  There is also curved "MANETTI" on the book case.   The furniture set includes boockcase, work table, magazine table, armchair

The style is. italian renaissance.( mannetti) was working from about circa 1900 to 1960. the Book case should average $5,000.00 Dollars.

A&R I  don't know. but the table. $2,500.00 to $3,000.00 Dollars

I also thought Italian once I saw it and the name Manetti helped enforce it.  I would've thought early 1900's...  The "A" & "R" look as if custom made for owner.  Any idea of original owners?

The appear massive.  Do you have any idea what kind of wood was used?  I too believe the initials were a special order from the factory.
