Richardson Bros. table no. 481
« on: May 20, 2009, 11:03:25 pm »
I have a Richardson Bros. table # 481 and wonder if it has any special value.  The drop leaf extensions are unique in design and the tricolor pattern on the table top are very nice.  This table is a "hand me down"  going back generations into at least the early 1900's.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Joseph Richardson erected a saw mill (1848) to clear and market logs he cut from his 200 acre spread.  This became Richardson Brothers Furniture - specializing in solid oak and cherry bedroom, Dining Room and curios.  furniture. Richardson Brothers is still in business (six generations)  after 146 years in Sheboygan, WI.

Without a picture we can't give you a true value!  But there are lots of these fine American made pieces on the market on Craigs Lists and Ebay, etc.
