Mitsu-Boshi Set
« on: May 06, 2009, 01:41:11 am »
My mother has recently acquired a tea set from her mother, and is wondering about the date the set was produced, how much it is worth, and general information like that.

The set consists of:
2 x Jugs + Lids
10 x Cups
10 x Saucers

They are decorated with (pink) flowers, a butterfly and gold deco as such.
On the bottom of the jug it states: "Mitsu-Boshi China-Ware", "Made in Japan" and features 3 star markings.
The saucers have: "Hand Painted", "Japan" and also features the same 3 star markings.

The entire set is in very good condition, with no chips or scratches.

Need Pics
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

Sorry.
I'll try get pictures up as soon as I find my camera.

Edit: Sorry for the slow reply. Real life issues cropped up.

Here are an assortment of pictures taken.
Another apology for the quality of the shots.
