Old box, Colburn's Mustard, Durham Superfine.
« on: May 06, 2009, 11:45:32 am »
Hi,

I'm trying to just learn about the history of a box that was given to me. It is a Colburn's Mustard box. From my research I found that Colburn's was a Philadelphia company operating a spice business in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Can anyone tell me anything about this box? I live in Durham NC but I suspect that maybe "Durham Superfine" refers to Durham, England.

A picture of the box can be found here...
