First and sorry to say I think what you have is not old, may barely make the vintage mark. Leonard would be plate not sterling, Leonard started in 1969 and was soon acquired by international silver.

Then the fact that it is marked italy makes it for sure a International line of product as they now have lots of silverplate made in italy, What you have was basically made for decoration. in a old style not that it can't be used for tableware.
