Reliquary Cross

I've often wondered how old this (what I think is a) reliquary cross. The only thing on it is the word Germany at the bottom. There were two nuns in the family that belonged to a convent in Detroit. I guess finding a maker will be even harder. Still, it's a great conversation piece!

Size: About 2 5/8 inches in height. 1 1/2 inches across.
