Rare Stained Glass Window?
« on: November 23, 2009, 02:13:15 am »
I have a stained glass window. I'm assuming it's kinda rare, cause it has a picture of Colonel Sanders from KFC.
Kinda random, yes, I know.
I was just wondering if it's worth anything, or I should even bother looking further into it.
Thanks!!

Any idea how old it is?
Post a picture if you can and it might help.

Col Sanders opened his little restaurant in 1930.  Original recipe was invented in 1940.  1952 first KFC franchise is sold.  1955 Harland Sanders is broke and goes on the road to try and sell his
secret recipe".  1957 KFC is sold in buckets for 1st time.  1960 190 franchises sold.  1964 Colonel sells his interests in the company for $2 million which now has 600 franchises. 1966 KFC oes public.  1060 listed on NYSE.  1971 more than 3,000 franchised and company owned stores.  1972 independent survey reveals that Col is 2nd most recognized celebrity.  1980 the Col dies at 80 from leukemia.

So, betting this was late 70's when there was a big push by the company to make production recognition (which he was still paid by the corporation for).  I seem to remember some stores that had these in them!
