Antique mirror - questions!
« on: December 01, 2009, 03:57:10 pm »
Hi everyone!
I stumbled upon this forum recently, and am so excited to have discovered it as it just seems like such a wealth of information! I hope to continue to learn here, and contribute in the future!

I am wondering if anyone can tell me when this mirror may be from? It is very large, with painted detailing on a wooden frame construction. I am absolutely in love with it, and would love to know more  information about it if possible!
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi mimz  What a beautiful piece!!!!! someone here will be able to give you the info you seek but I know nothing about mirrors. I can tell you they will need photos of the back and construction as this helps a great deal. any makers marks or labels???  Just beautiful!

Hi D&B and Wendy!
Thank you very much for your replies!
I edited the pictures since I realized everyone (whether registered or not) can view them and that made me a bit uncomfortable... until we can upload from the site, anyone who may want to see them can PM me (I hope you understand!).

I don't have pics right now of the back, but I will try to send them to you ASAP.
D&B I have sent you a message as well!

Thanks!

mimz...would love to see a pic of this. (I respect your privacy as well!)
If you look at the info that Talesof just posted on the "Quick...Help needed" thread...it shows another way to post a pic on this site!

D&b knows me well that I REALLY like French items/furniture!

I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!
