I tend to agree with Wendy and Fancy on the shade. Just search capiz shell lampshade and hit images...you will get whole bunch of pictures.....curved!!!
By-the-way.....Celluloid was used to make lots of items in the early 1900's (jewelry, housewares, etc.) Google it sometime to learn more!!!!
