1933 Chicago Worlds fair.
« on: March 24, 2010, 05:46:59 pm »
So I have a salt shaker from 1933.  It has a badge on front that says "A century of progress. Chicago, 1933."  Has a picture of the travel and transport building and than at the bottom names the said building.  Anyone have any idea what a general value is for this?

If it's not silver, around $5-$8. Generally these items aren't very valuable. If you can post a picture someone on here might be able to help you a bit more.

Here are a couple of pictures.  Best I can tell it is silver.  I found a listing for a set of these in a museum at the University of California at Fresno, but nothing else.  Let me know what you think.

Had some items from this worlds fair as well in the past from relatives.

Unfortunately, they are not rare or hard to find.

$20 - $30

If they are indeed silver, I'd agree with $25.
