Antique "Cleopatra" salt and pepper shakers
« on: March 24, 2010, 05:44:47 pm »
I am been given the overwhelming task of helping a friend liquidate his years of collecting.  Just starting out in the mountains of antique brass and silver I have found a set of salt and pepper shakers that I belive are probably pewter, all the have for a mark on them is "cleopatra".  Can anyone out there help me determine what these are and perhaps a value for them?

Thanks AJ I think these were made by the same company as yours if you look at the close up photos the figures sitting appear to be the same as the ones on your set, this set is stamped lotus blossom- found on ebay item # 350332024069

I agree they look identical with the exception of the mark.  Mine says only CLEOPATRA those say lotus blossom.  Odd.  But everything else looks the same. Anyone have any idea as the value of this set?

$15 high end? Usually salt and pepper shakers don't bring high prices unless they are really special. Nice set though :)

Agree Lux $15.00  Cleopatra & lotus blossom I would say are the pattern names. They probably made small changes to the pattern & renamed them each time.
