Thanks D&b ...

The sig's , monogram , mat'ls have been authenticated by the 'big boys & girls' .

Probably going to have to do the spectrographic & infrared photos thingie , so as to make the science guys happy .

Just trying to find out/document  , 'for sure' , where this one fits in !

Have to satisfy the clout. I noticed it was not uncommon for some artist to do more than than one portrait of the same thing.

It is nice/refreshing to see people that are intent on finding out information on their items.  Wish I could help more...

I just want to say that you folks here have been great .

I've been browsing the pages from the oldies to the newest & have become impressed with/by all the experience , insights , and dedication of so many forum members , doing what they do here ...including all the little spit-ball fights . ;)

Having once been a 'beginner' I do appreciate all the time and effort that so many have freely given here to the one-timers , the newbies , the inbetweens & the rusted hulls like me .

It used to be alot different to 'start out' ( back in the old-timey-time ), in regards to getting info , advice and assistance .

I think that this little forum does good things & hope that it will continue to keep doing this good work .

This thread is prob. not the place to post this message , but well ....too late
