Does anyone recognise that mark?

To determine the age of your set, all you need to do is to look up the British Registration number on the bottom of each piece. Sometimes they were not purchased all at once but were collected over time. I'm afraid the photo wasn't clear enough for me to read the numbers.

The Regency line by British Anchor Pottery Co Ltd. was started in 1952. So I'm afraid that that pattern isn't all that old.

The mark on the set at the top isn't British. If it were you'd see the standard date symbol or a registration number like your lower piece has. I'm not sure what that mark is since there are no letters. I think this one is gonna need Chris Marshall's expertise.

thanks talesofthesevenseas,
Yes problem is there are no numbers at all on the bottom of those plates, in the last two photos.

l recall now that l bought the set in the first two photos the blue ones,
in an Auction room in Oakleigh, Victoria, Australia where l lived, l was 13 at the time,
l am now 52, l left them at home, and got them back from Grandma's things when she passed on,
and there is nothing other than those marks pictured, no indents or such.
