Nice chairs, very rough shape though you definably got a restoration job ahead of you...lol

Think they have seen better days.

Early 1900's production (possible late 1890's).

If wood is in good shape....redo and enjoy!!!!!!!  These are widely available in US at flea markets/garage sales/etc.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

I bet this set will look just dandy , when you're finished workin' on em , danny1979 .
It's cool that you found a set of 4 .

The big deal , to me , when buying chairs , or just a single chair is : is it comfortable ?
I'm just goofy that way , though .

I've sat in thousands of antique chairs & have found that the purdyest are not always the comfortablest .
" Methinks me the 'mental' in sentimental .... "

there ash and the wood is really sound and all the joins are solid but not sure i have time to do them at the min so will go in the shed till got some more time as i can not see a quick turnover on them

They would look really nice... I like the atmosphere they bring... I think I could just stay on one all they long and admire another :) I mean after a restoration!

yep im sure they will be ok nice to have a set of 4 but 6 would have been better i only paid £20 for them so it will be alright

Great price!

I love these kind of items. We always need extra chairs at my home - Mix and match are the "in" thing and these have lots of personality in the wood (not necessarily the cushions! Ha!).

had an hour on these old chairs once i got all the old material off they look a hell of alot better will post a picture

Those chairs are fabulous. It's style is very unique. You should redo it  ;)
