Attic find (part 2) Wooden box with metal insert
« on: August 09, 2010, 02:07:55 pm »
Hi,
I have now got a wooden box, it has a hinged lid with a metal insert inside. The metal insert lifts out with two metal handles on each side.
Any idea's??
Thanks

It could be a couple of items.....are there any markings on the box that lifts out?  Any signs of wear or staining on the box?
