Can this piece really be worth 600?
« on: September 20, 2010, 08:57:28 pm »
I picked this exact piece up a few years ago, and have starting going through my treasures.  I found this same piece on ebay with a buy it now price of 600.
I am not familiar with Israel art, does anyone have any info.
Here is the address to the ebay auction

A registered seller can post anything on eBay with any "Buy It Now" price they want. The price could be accurate or highly inaccurate - time will tell if someone snaps it up or if it just lingers a slow expiration death.

It might be worthwhile to do the free trial on Worthpoint to see what this one sold for:

I contacted the auction house that was listed in the ebay auction.  They confirmed that the first one sold for just over 500 and the second one for 160.  Just depends who is at the auction that day!  Still a huge score for me :)
