I inherited a framed baby picture from my grandmother.  The face and hands appear to be cut out from cardboard, there is a blanket in the frame and real hair.  

I know that my grandmother had 2 of these types of pictures and I know that she lost 2 babies (stillborn).  If these pictures are related to those babies, they would be dated around 1918-1920.  I know that the hair is not the hair of these babies.

Has anyone ever seen pictures like these?  Can you give me any information on them?

 your' grandmother would have been raised in a time when these were popular.  their called mourning picture's. it's value would be $125.00 dollars. but at the right auction. you could double that value.
