Steiff Dog??

Hi,
I would like to know if anyone knows if this is a Steiff dog and how old it might be!  It is made of mohair and measures 8" long from nose to tail and is about 5 1/4" tall.

This dog is not jointed and is stuffed quite hard.  The eyes are made of glass and there are no tags or an ear button.  I can't tell if there ever was a button!

I ran some searches on Steiff terriers and yours looks just ever so slightly different. Tiny differences in things like the shape of the ears and the patches on the back. You might want to look up a user on this forum called Steiffgal. She would be a good person to have look at this.
