Welcome to the forum , switzersweet .

I just checked Ebay & there's 46 N & S  items for sale there , for a general idea on what folks are askin' for windsor-style chairs from them (N & S) .

If push comes to shove , you could contact Nichols & Stone at their website .

Switzer - can you post pics of the seat bottom and the mark? In researching another chair, I found some great books on the history of Windsor chairs at Google Books.  Here is one example: http://books.google.com/books?id=bwWUM8IsM1UC&printsec=frontcover&dq=windsor+chairs&hl=en&ei=hMbDTPOYE4_2tgPt9_mDCw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CDoQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=windsor%20chairs&f=false

There are several more there.  I believe yours would be called a high back. The thing is, they have been made fairly consistantly throughout the years so age is difficult.  Yours looks relatively newer (vrs 200yrs).  What are your thoughts on it's age?

Pics of the mark may be helpful in dating as well...
