We're going to try to move back into town this year and I have to get rid of a bunch. I'm currently clearing an unused bedroom I refer to as "the little room from Hell." There are pictures, picture frames, books, the kids toys they left, old bottles, rare fruit jars, an 1840's Horlicks bottle full of wheat pennies, an L. C. Smith double barrell shotgun made in 1904 etc etc, the list goes on. Already I've sold on Ebay a full unopened box of Rub-No-More washing powder, some WW2 goggles used by Rommel's Afrika Korp, and a semi rare book of guns used in the Custer battle. I just found this desk calender with "Sexton Quality Foods and a crest in gold enamel on it. It is (I am almost sure) made of bakelite. The settings for temperature and humidity work, tho I can't verify they are correct. On the bottom is marked "Autopoint Calendaire, Made in USA." It has little levers that adjust for the temperature and humidity. On Googling it I found that Autopoint was at one time owned by the Bakelite Co. hence it could be made of Bakelite. I believe that this was given to Sexton Food Co.'s dealers as a thank you for buying Sexton Foods. The side view certainly looks to be made in the Art nouveau style. It is 7" long and 4" wide. Please give me a guess on where to start the bidding on this. There isn't anything like it on Ebay to get an idea. Thanks very much. Jon
