That mark was used between 1940 and 1945. The Hutschenreuther company is not proud of this part of its history and refuses to publish the marks they used during that period (hence no images on their sites). Next to the normal mark there also may be a 'H', 'L' or an 'M' either written, stamped or incised. This would indicate the use : 'H' stands for 'Heer' (the army), 'L' for 'Luftwaffe' (airforce) or 'M' for '(Kriegs)marine' (the navy, including U-boats) ... but these were used only sporadically, so don't be disappointed if you don't have either on your piece.
