old painting

I am inquiring about a small painting my mom has at her house.  The size of the painting in about 4 inches wide and about 7 inchs tall.  The picture depicts a lit wax candle and within the candle itself is a lady either praying or holding something in her hands.  The picture is framed in a wooden frame.  On the rear of the canvas my Mom believes is the name "Schilling" I am inquiring for a possible date and possible value.
