« on: July 06, 2004, 03:58:15 pm »
I have a Home Comfort Cook Book, by the Wrought Iron Range Company of St Louis MO. Copyright 1938 by the same Company.
Does anyone know if there is any value to this old antique cook book? any information would be deeply appreciated.

Hi.........I believe Wrought Iron Range published yearly back then. A 1938 in very good condition should retail in the $15 range. Earlier ones circa 1925 retail in the $20 range. Keep in mind that condition is very important to collectors. Dog eared, missing or torn pages, stains, etc. all contribute to the value in cook books.............. .
