The only thing I'm afraid of is that "restoration" means "turning it into kitsch" rather than true restoration.  Wish I knew how it would go, for real!  I have an old wringer washing machine, and many cowhide bottomed chairs/rockers.

CC - If I had something to be restored I would hand it over to him in a heartbeat.  I haven't seen all episodes but he stays true to original. Some AMAZING work for sure.

I have one item but its something so simple that I will do it myself !! I bought it thinking it was a trunk !!  Its about 36"square and maybe 38" tall !!  Looked like a trunk and I wanted it for an end table !! It was in pretty bad shape surface wise !!  Took it home and when I looked inside,, it turned out to be a cooler !!  Metal lined and all !!
Wonder about the cost involved with this ??  His prices are a bit over my budget !!

I have a pretty good feeling the show pays for all or most of the restoration cost. Kind of like those court shows. The show pays the judgement amount to the people who win their case.
