Old Pewter Dispenser ?

Hello All, I've been trying to find out about this piece of pewter. I'm not sure what it was made for, maybe coffee or tea? Would this be American? The lid also appears to have been dropped at some point, would it be wise to try and bend it back? If anyone could give me some keywords other than coffee, tea and dispenser, perhaps I could do a little more research.

I have better luck finding out about other things than what I own. 

I had no luck with the mark on the bottom. This site might help:

LOL @ snowflake!  Aww, don't worry snowflake, we're all learners & the more you visit this forum definitely the better you will get!  This is a really charming piece.  I'd try the keywords coffee urn, hot water urn, cow, chocolate pot, footed, three legs, three-legged, including things like handle, spigot, etc.  The front "tap" on the front is called a spigot, commonly misspelled as a spicket.

Your item is really cute, if I were you I would take it to a local antique shop and see if they can put an approximate date and at least country of origin to it, which should assist you with the pricing.  Unless someone here can tell you.  Good luck!

cogar I have found that almost any name goes these days...  Although a samovar originally was created to heat water, hold tea pot on top and hold coals then later was adapted to be electric.
