Old shoehorn? Toss it?

I don't know if this is an old shoehorn or what.  It has a rope through it.  It randomly came with an auction box lot of pottery planters.  It's 10" long, 3" wide at the sole, 3" high.  Anyone know what this thing is?  Is it worth a few bucks, or should I just throw it away?

I have a little shoe last for children's boots in a size 0. It was the smallest one the seller had. These are popular with primitives collectors.

Vintage shoe lasts are pretty hot decorator items !!  Yours is pretty old and would sell better that the more modern ones !! Yours appears to be perhaps mid to late 1800`s !!

Wow, I thought it was old but I didn't know it was that old.  Thanks for the advice, guys, I almost just threw it away but then I figured I may as well post it and ask what you all think!
