That cake stand is LUSCIOUS.  And your photos with the dark background make them look even better than the one that sold on eBay.  Awesome job finding it!

Your one with the flowers reminds me of the scratched sideways candy jar a posted earlier this month.  I wonder who did those etched flower type designs?  http://www.antique-shop.com/forums/index.php?topic=9356.0

Ha! Now we are in the same boat. I tried finding this pattern for countless hours and came up with nothing. Nice candy jar!   ;)  Don't know how I missed it!
The search continues, maybe I'll search yours and have better luck.

The flower pattern reminds me of princess house.

Thank you, Wendy! At least I know to look for "wheel cut" now. That is a big help! It does look similar.

Sorry, hosman.  :(  I still don't know if mine is there real thing. Doesn't really matter, I guess. Hope you can get your hands on one of your own, I'll take all the blame!  ;)

Good luck, snowflake...I searched and searched and haven't come up with anything yet  :-\  Is that what that design is called, wheel cut?

I just got in about an hour and a half ago, so haven't checked into it more. From what I gather, that is what it is called. If I am wrong I hope someone tells me! That is the technique, not design.

Yes, I meant technique, sorry.  The "better half" was asking about dinner & distracting me  ;D
