I am hoping to get some information on a Camel cigarette table lamp that I recently saw - less about the value but more about the style and origin.
The lamp is basically a large brass (looking) woman's hand (left) - maybe about 24" high at the most - and the lighted part is a large cigarette in between the first two fingers. The CAMEL wording/emblem is shown across the the base/wrist of the hand.
It looks to me that the style was very much art nouveau, but I can't find any information about Camel cigarette lamps anywhere.
Does anyone have any thoughts or info?
Thanks!!
