    The other two books came up empty, except one had the Blue optix, wow what a nice piece, the body is the same but the crimp is different.  Have one on replacements here is the link.

Now that date on this one is way before the 80's, but the shape is called a Pinch Vase (if their info is correct) ....... and this is a swirl not bubble design. Don't know if that helps any at all. The lip is very clear and uniform which would suggest to me as well that it was a flawed second.

I have two large books of Fenton glass. There is only one section with the pinched vases. Robert Barber Collection. 1975-1976 It's the hanging heart series. The large 8" vases is quoted at 175-185.00 and th3 4" is 75.00 5" 125-150.00 and the 6" 150-175.00
  I'm still looking to see if I can find your vase exactly, but as of yet I haven't.

I cant believe you picked this up for only $3.99! I could tell straight away that it was Fenton before i saw that it was marked. Obviously a newer piece because of the thickness of the glass and color. I would say a fair current value would be $30 to $40 easy. Great find!
