Please help identify this Chandelier
« on: October 17, 2011, 08:48:07 pm »
We just bought a house that was built in 1939. The majority of the lighting was original to house. I'm not sure if this is or not. It's heavy and solid metal which makes me think that it is old. However, it does have new wiring going to the bulbs. Maybe it was re-wired. Any info would be a great help- thanks in advance!

WOW! I wish I could help. That is a beauty! I'll keep an eye out for it though.

I have a really old chandelier with a similar characteristics. It too looks like it has been wired later on. That was done in those days. Did you look for markings anywhere?

No markings that I've been able to see.
