Old Floor Lamp

I cannot find any info on this old brass lamp.  On the bottom I can make out some of the lettering.  Vogx (ie?)  Shake (e?) Co.  Chicago Illinois.   I just have the base.   Thanks!

Tried playing with the clarity.....eyes aren't what they used to be  ;)
