Fur Seal Ornaments - Are these native art or mass produced?

Hey everyone!  Our shop has recently acquired these cute fur ornaments.  The fur feels real and is silky smooth.  I am unsure of what type of fur it is - if anyone knows that would be of great help.  My question is - are these items true handcrafted art pieces or are they mass produced tourist items?  They are really unique and mounted on a solid wood base.  I tried to research online but came up pretty well blank.  (Seems if you search for "Fur Seal Ornament" you get alot of "Seal Fur" and seal hunting articles).  Hope someone can help me with identifying and evaluating these.  Thank you very much!

I found a few similar examples being made by a company called "ESKI" in Newfoundland. None of them were selling for more than a few dollars.

Very cute Little guys!! They appear to be made from real seal fur  could not find lots of info but did find these 2 examples
