How can i tell if its real?

Hello All,

I came across this in my basement and did some research and i know the following

They are called continental currency
The paper seems to be old and from what i read seems to be of age.
The ink from the signature and the type print seem to be different.

But i see so many picture and different types and ones with colors and ones without color so I still am not sure if this is real or not. If someone can give me a bit of details on
1. How to identify if they are real
2. How much something like this might be worth
3. Where i would be able to sell them.

chances of it being real are pretty slim Im afraid. Lots of repros have been made as novelties, those made after 1973 are required to have the word "copy" on it somewhere but not befor, and most all are artificially aged.. plus you gotta be extra wary of anything marked 1776. Id have a professional or a museum look at it but dont get your hopes high..
