:o I would say' you did a very good job tracking it down. and it also so show's what your up against as far as fakes.

I think however that the pitcher in this post was not intended so much to defraud, as it was intended to capitalize on the M in a wreath.  As I searched for this pitcher, I opened up any item blue & white,  from Japan.  Hoping to find more of this mark.  Nothing.

I think it would make this pitcher even more appealing if we could ever locate the mark, and get a little history on the company.  Maybe Noritake got rid of them.          KB
