Antique Wooden and Metal Doll Stroller/Carriage
« on: January 23, 2012, 09:51:30 pm »
My parents recently purchased a stroller at an auction and we are having a difficult time finding any information on it. It is large, dark blue. It is made of mostly metal but the sides are made of wood. The top can be switched over to the other side as well as the handle. The end part can swing down for leg room. It has a weird symbol on the side. We have no idea if it's actually old or just made to look old. Any information would be great! :)

I think this one is by the same mfr. Late 40`s or early 50`s !!  Looked several up and they had several different graphics similar to yours on the sides of each !! Didn`t check the ones on ebay yet !!

The lion looks like a revised Peugeot or Triumph emblem that would have been found on English items...or companies that fancied English style.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!
