Barber Pole Bank
« on: January 29, 2012, 07:10:11 am »
This barber pole bank belonged to my grandfather it was at our house for over 50 years. I'm trying to find some info on it, and the value. The smaller coins are dropped in at the top and they roll down and around the red stripe. The bank is 13 in high and made of plastic. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

johnale, I came across on currently listed as a BIN for $14.99 and also in the completed listings another (or possibly the same one) that did not sell with the asking price of $9.99.  Will let others chime in with any further info.

Don`t know about yours but back in the 50`s the style was pretty common !! My grandad had a similar one with a forest scene !! The coin went in through the chimney of a cabin and went around it !!
