A new alternative to Craigslist. Apparently.
« on: February 19, 2012, 01:23:57 am »
I'm selling a poster on Craigslist, and the buyer asked me to post it on this new website that I've never heard of. From what I've read, the buyer pays a delivery fee, and the company picks it up from me and sends it to the buyer. I kinda like it. The final value fee is 3.5% and there are no listing fees. So I'm giving it a try for now. See what happens with it.

There's a lot of pink on the site. A lot of pink...

That's pretty cool. It will probably be a long time before they get up into my area if ever, since it is a long haul on winding mountain roads, but if they expand into San Jose where I work I could use them there. At this point it looks like they are in southern CA not yet in northern. Cool concept though and it eliminates having to go to the house of a stranger which is a big plus.

It is good idea and an interesting concept. But they keep mentioning Los Angeles as their pickup area. I don't live there. I'm about 50 miles south in a different county. But hey, if the buyer's willing to pay, then that works for me!
